"Nurture: Cancer - Never Give Up": My Tribute to Resilience

Every brushstroke and color choice carries a profound message. “Nurture” is my way of honoring the incredible strength we find in the face of adversity.

At its core, the painting captures the intimate moment between a mother and her child, radiating love's enduring power, even in the shadow of cancer. Flowers boldly stand tall against delicate shards of glass and traces of ash, symbolizing growth, scars and resilience.

The shattered glass, though fragmented, exudes a unique kind of grace and strength. It speaks of the scars cancer may leave, but also of the beauty that arises from the struggle.

In the midst of this scene, there's a glimpse of an inner child—a reminder of untapped potential and inner fortitude. It urges us to reconnect with our own well of strength, especially when faced with challenges.

"Nurture: Cancer - Never Give Up" is a beacon of hope for those navigating a cancer journey. It whispers a promise: never give up. Within each of us lies a deep reservoir of strength, waiting to be discovered, even in our darkest moments.

This juried painting, featured in the show "Cancer: Never Give Up," is now available as a limited edition matted or matted and framed print.
